Product Review: Urban Decay Cream Shadows

According to Urban Decay, these new cream shadows channels the sex appeal of the 70’s and the science of today! Whipped to perfection, each shimmering shade dries to a weightless layer of color that will not crease, fade, or hide in fine lines. Unlike most cream shadows, this gel-based formula features silicone technology, allowing time to blend, correct and smudge.

Now my initial reaction to seeing these cute little tubes was "Why isn't the primer potion in a nice tube like this? And after pondering that question in my head for a while, I started swatching. At first I was thinking the formula was to thin and wet and then I allowed them to dry before layering more product and the result was awesome. They can be used as a base or alone and either way you choose to use them you will not be disappointed. The best part of all is that there waterproof.

Available in 12 shades, from bright blue to gilded gold, the wide array of Cream Shadows offer
something for everyone from the humble beginner to the savvy advanced professional. I found that the best way to use these little gems is with the doe-foot applicator instead of squeezing it directly from the tube.

Overall, I plan to invest in a couple more of these cream shadows because "Grass" has my name all over it. These cream shadows will be available for $17 at Sephora ,sephora.com, ULTA & ulta.com in February. They currently are available on urbandecay.com

These are even waterproof? Hello!! I definitely want to give these a try. Sweating during dance always makes eye makeup tend to shimmy its way in an unflattering way into my eyes. So far the only solutions are MAC paints & paint pots over UDPP and then shadow locked on top. This is a marvelous find!
