Do you listen to music while applying your makeup? If so, what's your favorite genre of music to listen to while getting all dolled up?
For me I have to listen to something, my TV is on VH1 Soul all day & night. And for the most part I'm jamming to some good ole' new-soul while getting dolled up.

I usually listen to reggae or some up tempo neo soul music while putting on the sexy face.
Sometimes, I will listen to my iPod while putting on my makeup. It's usually Jazz music or Gospel music.
most of the time its party music - i.e. go-go or the latest club song-mostly because I dont party that much anymore so its the only time I get to dance nowadays. LOL
I listen to T.I. or Dwele... My makeup seems to come out better listening to those fellas!
I listen to pretty much whatever's on. Usually I go for something that gets me hyped up. Except on Sundays when I listen to some Jesus music.
Sometimes. It's actually whatever is in my itunes, so it can be anything from Adele to Bob Marley. I usually skip to the fast songs though. ;)

@ Seymone, OMG!! I remember one time I was applying my makeup and Bob Marley came on, I had to stop and get my jam on cause " I shot the sheriff " is one of my faves lol

I listen to upbeat stuff when I'm getting ready...I think that listening to slower stuff makes me slow down along with it :P.
lately i've been listening to drake - you the best and the dream - walking on the moon... who doesn't want to hear that as they get prettified?
but mostly songs with men professing their love to a happy beat lol
