Hello Divas,
Guess who's back!!!! Some of you may be wondering where the heck I have been for the last 2 1/2 months. Well divas, I had weight loss surgery on May 4th and I have been recovering nice and slowly. I am currently back to 98% of myself and I'm working to be 100% soon and very soon. My journey has been long and emotional but trust me when I say that having major surgery is not for the faint of heart.
Here are a few pics of me in the hospital ** Warning I look a hot mess**
OK, enough of that, What has been going on in the makeup world? I have been reading my google reader (sorry if I didn't comment) trying to stay abreast of the new trends, collections, events but to tell you the truth I completely lost track. So please fill me in.
I have a few things (tucked in my sleeve) that I look to incorporate into the blog like give-a-ways, contest and from time to time some progress pictures of my weight loss. I have missed you all so much and I just wanted to thank you all for stopping by and checking in now and then to see if I updated or what not.
Hugs and Kisses,
Silver Lips

Waay to go! Welcome back. I was starting to worry there...
I dont usually comment on your blog but I read all the time. Youre a courageous woman and Im happy that you were able to start down that journey despite what people do say about this. Friend of mine went through this and she caught hell. One day at a time, beautiful.
I'm keeping you in my prayers. I work in Recovery and I've taken care of many people who've had weight loss surgery right out of the operating room. I hope your recovery continues to go well and it was very brave of you to share this with us.
